When I was 13 years old, for Christmas I received a 13-inch color television. Just based on the coincidence of 13 and 13, I will never forget that gift. It also reminds me how times change. Back then, the “color” was emphasized because it was still a big deal to have a television that showed a color picture rather than just a black and white picture. Today it would be hard to find a tv that isn’t color. In fact, it would probably be just as hard to find a tv that is only 13 inches.
