So often you see people looking externally for validation. They want to impress others and they are looking for praise from others. That’s a recipe for disaster and unhappiness. You will never please all of the people all of the time. The better approach is to aim to please yourself. Impress yourself. Others will see and some will be impressed even though that wasn’t your intent.
